Seneca Iron Works is a versatile company that began as a take over from Green Valley Welding in 1999. Green Valley Welding was a small company that began manufacturing free-stalls and other dairy equipment in 1978. For over twenty years Green Valley Welding had been building the industry as well as a fine line of dairy equipment. In 1999, when Seneca Iron Works bought the company, we began to invest heavily in future technologies and began a huge research and development program. We began to build experimental barns and started working closely with various universities. The ability to quickly take care of large complex situations has helped contribute to a large growth over the past five years.
